Universal Supply grows product offering and reach in New Jersey suburbs
WHIPPANY, N.J. (Nov. 17, 2022) – US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, has expanded its reach in the New York metropolitan area, opening a new roofing and siding focused location in Whippany, New Jersey. The new location will operate under US LBM’s Universal Supply division and provide contractors, remodelers and local homebuilders in the New Jersey suburbs of New York City access to the industry’s premier roofing and siding brands.
“Universal Supply is a trusted name for roofing, siding and specialty building materials, and this new location allows us to better serve both existing and new customers in the New Jersey suburbs outside of New York City,” said Universal Supply President Jeff Umosella.
Universal Supply operates 28 locations, including two similar roofing and siding focused locations that have opened over the past two years in Newark and Paterson, New Jersey.
The new roofing and siding location is situated just a few miles south of the intersection of I-287 at I-80 near Parsippany-Troy Hills. The street address is 55 S. Jefferson Road in Whippany, and the location is open to customers weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 973-387-0050.
In addition to Universal Supply, US LBM’s brands in the area include Feldman Lumber and Direct Cabinet Sales.
